Booked. Paid. Confirmed. Lights off, no staff, door open, no phone response. Hotel closed... . Asking around: hotel in trouble. Guest list was visible: some guests seem to stay...but when entrance open, keys to get; dont leave your personals into your room. Get it off your reccommendations

“Ok place if you just need a place to crash after a long day.”
Since there wasn't anyone on site upon arrival in the early evening, we received a call from the owner, which was really nice and helpful. My colleague and I took turns behind the desk to check each other in, and finding the second form to fill in the necessary personal details. I liked that we were granted permission by the owner via phone that we could go behind reception, an otherwise holy place, to get the second key. And, we got good advice for a place to eat. If you are looking for a bite to eat, do not hesitate to go to the Ristorante Pizzeria Da Pino http://vfb-sennfeld.de/verein/sportheim

“Recommend to stop for a wile and relax”
Located in a small town of Sennfeld on a river shore in a very picturesque scenery. Very well maintained with an authentical outlay and wooden stair case to the second floor. Big rooms with full size bathrooms, vintage style furniture, comfortable beds. Basic continental breakfast with real coffee on the good China table ware and vintage accessories and cutlery served in the in-house dining room. The dinning room also acts as a restaurant a couple of days in a week starting from Wednesday. Three minutes’ walk up the street one can find a nice bakery Bäckerei Dörr with fresh pastry, coffee and dairy products. For a choice of restaurants and shops it is better to drive 5 minutes to the town of Adelsheim. The castle has a nice and big garden with fountain housing a herd of king size golden fish, some tables and benches to sit outdoor. There is a lot of free parking places on the street and a couple in the garden. The hotel is managed by a very friendly young couple. They are quite efficient and very pleasant to deal with.
