Overview
The Hotel Bären is situated in the centre of Adelboden in the Bernese Oberland, 150 metres from the bus terminal. You can relax in the sauna for free and enjoy free WiFi access. The rooms offer views of the mountains or the chalets along Adelboden's main shopping street. All rooms are equipped with a cable TV and a safe, and are accessible by lift. Most have a balcony. The studios are located in the annex and feature a small but well equipped kitchen, a dining table a living room or living area with TV, and a modern bathroom with a rain shower. Depending on the unit, guests of the rooms enjoy breakfast at the Bären Restaurant. An underground garage is available.

Cozy, traditional but still nicely finished. Great location. Nice room. Nice sauna, friendly staff, simple but good breakfast.

“Great studio close to the main building for the delicious breakfast. The free pass for the lifts was a highlight”
We stayed in the studio and for a family is the best option because with small children we can’t stay long in restaurants and have some fix times for naps. Studio was not far from the hotel and the breakfast was great! The free pass for all lifts in the area was a highlight and we enjoyed using all of them to explore the region.

“Delightful family-run alpine hotel.”
Delightful location in centre of town. Lovely room with balcony over the main square. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Given lift pass and discount card to use during the stay. Food was good.

“Great location, beautiful atmosphere, tiny room.”
Location couldn't be better, in the very center of the town - which comes with some minor crowd noise. The single room was really tiny but well appointed and everything works fine. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was varied and high quality.

“Great place for a short ski break”
Good quality breakfast. The hotel is located in the centre of town so very convenient for bars, restaurants, and shopping. The high street lift linking to the main bubble is just a few minutes walk away and ski hire is also very close.
