Everything it was very romantic, secluded and quiet. The private pool leading up to the River. Specious and so much space to just relax and have an amazing time. I’d definitely recommend it for a honeymoon, romantic getaway. So many beautiful places to take gorgeous pics. It was definitely giving Bali, Thailand vibes.

Absolutely beautiful property. Rooms were superbly decorated, housekeeping first class and grounds stunning. All staff very pleasant and helpful. Spa facilities, treatments and staff (especially Mikhaela) were fantastic.

It was genuinely relaxing. The venue and the clientele were well matched. The mobile phones I occasionally saw were being looked at and not being shouted into. I look for faults and found none.

Stunning hotel the photos and videos do not do it justice. Had an amazing stay to celebrate my birthday, when we arrived we were welcomed with a glass of cava and had a bottle waiting for us in the room. We got room service which arrived fast and they accommodated our vegetarian diet and made swaps where necessary. Breakfast buffet was amazing so much choice for us and the coffee is gorgeous. The private pool onto the river is stunning, the water is warm and the outside areas are perfect sun traps with the option of curtains and shade if you need it. The room itself was huge and so beautifully decorated. Staff were all so lovely and made our stay so welcoming we felt like we could ask for anything and the little perks, free tote bag and wash bags to take home as a reminder of such a wonderful stay made my day. Thank you royal river we will be back!

The hotel was a real show stopper! Beautifully designed and well laid out. It was luxurious but not overbearing to guests. Excellent service and facilities. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were so good!

The room was very spacious and the bed was super comfy, one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The dipping pool being connected to the river pool (we were staying in a River Villa) enabled a good long swim as the river pool was 80m long. All the pools were also heated which was a big bonus as the outside temperature on the first couple of days was 18*c or so early morning. The beach in Adeje (playa el Duque) is not far (7.5 Euros by taxi) and we enjoyed a visit with a dip in a very refreshing sea. We played paddle tennis on the hotel court which was fun, but didn't try the crocket lawn although it looked good. Definitely would visit again.
