Overview
Located 47 km from Addo National Elephant Park, Harmony Luxury Tented Camp offers accommodation with free WiFi and seating area. Each of the units at Harmony Luxury Tented Camp feature a private viewing deck, where guests can often see wild animals. A Full English/Irish breakfast can be enjoyed at the property, as well as traditional BBQs in the Braai Lapa. The tented camp also offers a converted reservoir where guests can cool down and the area is popular for birdwatching. We are located on the safest routes to and from Addo Park, including leading up to the lodge. We are centrally located in Addo area between the Garden Route and R62, for those planning round trip back to, or coming from Outdshoorn. If you do travel from Port-Elizabeth, please drive via R75 to us. Port Elizabeth is 52 km from Harmony Luxury Tented Camp, Port Elizabeth International Airport is 56 km from the property. You can enjoy 3 Safaris. We are centrally situated Firstly, the world renowned Addo Ellephant Park. You can self drive. A map is available at the property to make your drive more pleasurable. The second safari is in an open cruiser on the adjacent reserve, where plenty of giraffes are to be viewed. The third is the predator walking guided safari which include all the African predators. Only 45 min drive from the local airport, or if you are coming from the Garden Route( Cape Town) we are on the safe roads. Your safety is our priority. Lastly, you can view roaming animals on our reserve between the accommodation for your African viewing pleasure.

“Nice Stay”
Super nice owners, they even grilled especially for us and it was very delicious. It was also really nice at night to hear the animals around the tent eating, and during the day you can always see monkeys, antelopes, etc. Would definitely come again anytime.

“Perfect accommodation if you want to experience Addo region .”
Beautiful tents , much bigger than they seem in the pictures. We loved spotting giraffes from our balcony in the morning! Mike and Marietjie are lovely hosts who genuinely want their guests to have a great experience.

“Fantastic stay”
The whole experience on the property with the animals and the spacious tents with comfy beds was incredible. Marietjie & Mike are phenomenal hosts, we felt right at home. They help with every question you’ll have and are super friendly. The breakfast in the morning & the Braai in the evening were delicious! We can recommend a stay a 100%!

“Tourist trap”
The tent itself was new, clean and like the pictures. The lodge accoss the road has giraffes, which is nice to see. We had a massive wolf spider in our tent which made it memorable. We stayed one night, and except for the price of the room and the price of the food, had a good experience.

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts Mike and Marietjie were incredibly welcoming and created a relaxed, informal atmosphere that made us feel at home straight away. The optional Braai dinner was excellent and very well priced, with top-quality meat sourced from local farmers and butchers, a real highlight. The views are beautiful, the accommodation is comfortable, and everything suited us perfectly. It’s also a great location for exploring the wider region, not just Addo. We’d happily stay again. A quick note referring to other reviews commenting on the road conditions: this is rural Africa! Roads may be a little rough at times, but that’s all part of the adventure and should be seen as the charm of being out in nature.

We had a great time here and owners were extremely helpful and friendly. We loved seeing the wildlife on the property. Unfortunately because of the ongoing drought in the Western Cape we were not able to swim as water is scarce

“Great place to stay close to Addo”
Mike and Marietje are amazing hosts and the Braai dinner was a great experience! The Safari Tent was comfortable and the location is ideal to visit Addo National Park.

The location is not good to visit Addo Elephant Park. The picture on the website of the swimming pool is wrong. The tents were unbearably hot. The roadway is not suitable for a small car.

“Must go to accommodation around Addo elephant park”
We had an amazing stay with them. You have a view of giraffes, and other animals. They give easy instructions how to navigate through Addo elephant park by your own. And then they make an amazing breakfast and dinner ! They cater for vegetarians or people with dietary needs. Thank you for hosting us!

“Amazing B&B showcasing highest level of friendliness and hospitality”
Amazing B&B. The location is perfect for a visit to for instance Addo Elephant Park. We (family of 4) slept in a awesome tent with two bedrooms. Highlight of the tent is the outdoor bathroom with shower and toilet. Owners/Hosts Mike and Marietjie are extremely hospitable in the most natural way and they go to great lengths to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The BBQ/Braai dinner that is offered is of great quality and value to. Highly recommended to complement a nice day of safari.

“Wir kommen wieder!!!”
Mike and Marietjie are such a lovely host couple. The resort is in a great location; you can watch giraffes from a distance, and impalas roam the grounds. The tents are incredibly comfortable, and the evening BBQ was truly delicious. Mike also has excellent tips for excursions in the area. Thank you very much, Stefan and Melanie.
