I was welcomed so warmly by Tony, Silvana and Tris (their lovely dog 💖) Tony helped me patiently with questions. The view was wonderful and a fresh breakfast outside, perfect start in the day. Bed was very comfortable and I had direct access to the garden from this room. Private parking space inside a gate, you get a key to open it and it was even included. Super practical.

Silvana an Toni were amazing hosts, very attentive and always asking if we needed anything as well as providing great recommendations when we asked specific things about the area. The breakfast was delicious and everyday was something new to try typical from the area. The house is very tidy and in a very quite area, sleeping was very comfortable. Very happy with our stay and will definitely come back! 😊

B&B Il Vulcano is the perfect base for exploring Eastern Sicily by car. Whether you’re headed to Etna, Taormina, Catania, Siracusa, Noto, or any other gem in the region, this cozy guesthouse is ideally located. The garden pool was clean and inviting—even in mid-May, the water was perfect for a refreshing swim. The property offers breathtaking panoramic views—both of the sea and of majestic Mount Etna. Our room was spacious, well-equipped, and offered an exceptional value for the price. But what truly sets this place apart is the heartfelt hospitality. Tony and Silvana are, without a doubt, the warmest and kindest hosts we’ve ever met. Thank you, Tony and Silvana, for your genuine care, your ever-smiling faces, and your delicious, rich, homemade breakfasts! Tony served them either in the lovely garden by the pool or, as we preferred, on our balcony—overlooking a lemon grove and the sea melting into the horizon. We felt truly welcomed and cared for in the most human and heartfelt way. Tony and Silvana, receive our hugs and warmest regards! We sincerely hope to meet again. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

We had a wonderful relaxing 2 day stay at B&B Il Vulcano. What a beautiful place to take a mini vacation. The staff was excellent, Toni & Sylvana are super friendly,like staying with family. The food was amazing!! What a nice variety of homemade items to enjoy. The accommodations were wonderful,, updated and well maintained. We will definitely be coming back for another visit and will highly recommend

“Great Stay at a Welcoming Place”

The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was a bit small but not a problem. We had a nice terrace with a Lemmon plantation and sea view. Toni, the host was really kind and made us feel at home. There is a nice pool which we used in the afternoon and it was a great way to rest after visiting the Etna. Breakfast was served by the garden under the olives tree which I loved. Breakfast consisted of a typical Sicilian breakfast of pastries, home made jam, tomatoes and bread. I am not a fan of sweet breakfast but after I realized that I could have asked for something salty. The property is spacious and there are lots of fruit and olive trees which we loved. Toni is passionate about his trees and property and would make you feel at your own home. Surely we would stay again at B&B Il Vulcano. You should know that if you will probably need a car to move around as the property is high at the hill. If you want to swim in the sea there is a Lido down in the town.

Lovely hosts, Lovely house. All caring and friendly. Too bad I only stayed for two nights!

Very swift and nice welcome by the host. Welcomed us with some home made cold limoncelo and another drink that was also good (sorry I could not remember the name). We had a nice clean room with a big bathroom. Everything in the rooms was newly furnished and fresh. Flexible arrival and breakfast times. Beautiful quiet surroundings. Thank you for hosting us for our short stay before departing Sicily :)

“Absolutely recommend staying here”

We arrived at the B & B and it was a complete sudden relaxation after leaving the airport. The owners were extremely friendly and made us feel very at home, the sea view was beautiful We stayed for four nights and in that time we had a wonderful time, breakfast was different each day with lots of gorgeous home grown fruit. The gentleman running the B & B was the loveliest man that we meet whilst in Siciliy, so friendly and very helpful and had the most beautiful dog ever so sweet. We highly recommend staying at the Is loving B & B

Everything. We chose this place because we wanted to feel safe regarding our car being locked behind a gate during night and ended up having a great relaxing swimming pool area. Great Breakfast. Very clean room with really good service .. owners are so nice we really felt like knowing them for a long time.

Everything was excellent. We booked Il Vulcano last minute after a really bad experience in an other local hotel. We were really surprised to arrive in a cozy oasis as Il Vulcano it is. We were welcomed by the smile and kindness of Silvana and Toni, who also gave us many suggestions for visiting the area and beyond.

it was the best Start for my vacation! Tony and his wife are so lovely! I was in love with the Place and the food which Tony has made The pool and the rooms are very nice and clean I would love to Come back one Time

I can’t thank Tony and Silvana enough. My favourite stay on my solo journey of Italy and Sicily from Australia. I felt so nurtured, relaxed and happy staying at their Bnb. Nothing was too much to ask, amazing chef, tour guide, translator , friendly, hospitable, comfortable, clean, privacy, relaxation. the best of the best. Tony made me scrambled eggs or whatever I liked! There were even fireworks on my first night! And I stayed an extra two nights, loved it so much 🙏🏼 Tony took me to: Taormina Mt Etna Catania historic churches Highly recommend

Tony and Sylvana are excellent hosts. They provided us with ideas where to visit in the proximity and were always available for a chat! Good sized pool to refresh in! Freshly baked Sicilian sweets by Sylvana which were to die for! Close proximity to motorway.
