Overview
Das Kronthaler in Achenkirch at Lake Achen offers spacious, elegantly decorated rooms and suites with free Wi-Fi. This adult-only property features a 2,500 m² big beauty and spa centre. The spa centre comes with a 215 m² large indoor and outdoor pool, several sauna, an aroma steam bath, and a relaxation area with outdoor access. A hair salon is available on site. Situated in the Christlum ski region in the Karwendel Mountains, the property is located directly at the hiking and skiing tracks. You can also go Nordic Walking or cross-country skiing. Das Kronthaler features a wine collection with a wide selection of fine wines. There is also a sky bar on the sun deck. Guests can choose between full board or half-board. Dinner includes a 5-course menu. The property has its own onsite ski school and ski and bike rental shops.

“Fantastic, highly recommended, would defiantly come again.”
Above and beyond, we want to praise our waiter. Yes, you read it right. Jürgen Scholer really treated us as if we were his family. He was the one turning the hotel dining room into our home dining table. Moreover, we booked the full board option, and what impressed us the most is that every meal presented itself with different dishes, different flavors, yet with respect for its Austrian origins. The room was spacious and warm. The spa was relaxing.

Staff was incredibly friendly, very clean, breakfast and dinner were amazing. Spa was also very clean and wonderful. We will definitely come back, such a great stay.

“Great place for a few days away”
The hotel is great. Location is superb, quiet, out of the village and prime access to great hiking, not far from the lake. The room is phenomenal. Great size, great interior, warm, comfortable and stunning views. Staff are super friendly and the food is great, if not quite as good as in other hotels in the area. The spa offers good facilities for hotel guests only, so the size works. The steam room is about the only thing that is below par, it is small with awkward and uncomfortable seats. Overall the value for the prize is very good indeed.

“Tranquility. Relaxation. Inspiration”
A super nice hotel, top match between the quality and price. The hotel team was always very friendly, helpful and in a nice mood. The sauna and spa zone is brand new, everything super clean, big spacious rooms, smelling from natural wood. Even on busy days the people are somehow scattered around the hotel so it is never overcrowded. Location is breathtaking. Will definitely come again!

The location is superb, the selection of cheeses during breakfast and dinner was outstanding, the premises overall (the garden, pools, the gym, bars and even a mini shopping mall) were excellent. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Also the hotel has a huge parking garage, so be not afraid to travel with your car (even electric).

“HIghly recommend”
The staff are super nice. Big and clean room with comfortable bed. Taste food (dinner and breakfast). Many resting area in the hotel area, we can read, rest, nap or enjoy the beautiful mountain view everywhere. Good carpark with charging, easy for electric car. The shower gel and shampoo are also exceeded our expectations, we usually use our own but this time I have no doubt to use which the hotel provided. Overall we enjoy a lot and really appreciate everything.

The atmosphere in the hotel is very unique and the staff are very well trained..location is panoramic Room is spacious and bed is comfortable. The food was good enough and tasty Drinks on the panoramic roof was extraordinary and special thanks to Rayyan who made the visit upstairs very special for everybody
