A perfect stop if you ride from Fez to Merzouga. The people were really kind. We arrived late and it was not a problem. We had a flat tire and they helped us with the tire. I would definitely recommend this place!

Quite, very clean, very friendly. The location felt very special, an oasis surrounded by the mountains. You instantly can feel the slowness and calm. Amazing breakfast and a lovely family! Thank you for welcoming and hosting us!

We had an amazing stay here. The owners were extremely friendly and hospitable, the dinner and the breakfast were really good and lovingly made. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and we even had a small heater to keep us warm at night.

Beautiful stay at a lovely family kept guesthouse, we stayed here for one night. Everyone was really nice and polite, great location and really quiet during the night. We booked a room with a/c and it worked really well as a heater, warm water in the shower. Beautiful location in the ziz valley. Dinner was amazing, we had vegetarian tagine and they served us fruits and yoghurt for dessert, really reasonabily priced! Traditional moroccan breakfast was really tasty as well.

The family who runs the place is extremely kind, helpful and relaxed. Breakfast and dinner in one word amazing! The tagine and couscous traditional made and best that I had in Marocco. The environment is perfect for hiking in the mountains or a visit to Es-Rich (go there!) or Errachidia. The mountains that surround the appartment are stunningly beautuful and accesible. The rooms are simple but very good with staedy warm water

Gite d'etape ziz oasis was a lovely, quiet place to stay. The family were so kind and welcoming. We felt very much at home. The family helped to make our stay comfortable and peaceful. We were welcomed with coffee, mint tea and snacks when we arrived. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Wifi worked well. Breakfast and dinner served at Gite d'etape ziz oasis was excellent, delicious and prepared with care. Gite d'etape ziz oasis is an interesting place to stay. We loved walking around the small village and along the creek and river beds. It was great to experience a Moroccan village away from the tourist scene. I highly recommend Gite d'etape ziz oasis to anyone traveling through Achbarou for a unique and peaceful experience with a kind and caring family. A big thank you to our hosts. Salaam

Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Food was delicious and really A LOT (breakfast and dinner), plus nice welcome tea. Hot water available. It is possible to do laundry there. Friendly staff. The only minus was that wifi worked well only in the reception; in our room as well as in eating room it was too weak to use it at all.

Very convenient hotel for travelers with their own vehicles. (You can park your vehicle right in the hotel courtyard.) Located close to the main road, easy to find as there are signposts. And at the same time the place is still picturesque. You can walk around and find very beautiful views of the oasis. This is a family run guest house where you are welcomed as a valued guest even if you arrive for one night. The hosts are very friendly, ready to help, to solve all organizational issues. On arrival we were treated to tea with homemade sweets and later a very tasty dinner was prepared. Both dinner and breakfast are traditional in the house. And very-very tasty!))) We asked for a quiet room, and its window overlooked a courtyard with a small garden. The room is clean and neat. The bathroom is equipped rather modestly, but everything is honestly reflected in the photos provided by the hotel here, and everything works fine. The volume of the boiler was a bit small for us two, who like to stand under the shower for a long time. But this is also not a problem, just need to pay a little attention in advance. The water heats up quickly, everything works perfectly. At the time of our trip, the nights were already pretty chilly too.
