The apartment was not clean, particularly the bathroom, which was damp and smelled unpleasant without any ventilation. To our surprise, there was no daily cleaning, nor were towels and sheets changed. This was our first time booking an apartment in Greece through Booking.com, and we were shocked to find that no cleaning service was provided. When I inquired about it, the owner claimed that Greek law prohibits apartment owners from offering daily cleaning services! I then offered to pay extra for cleaning, as it was inconvenient for us to clean the space ourselves. The owner’s response was even more surprising—she told me to arrange it directly with the cleaning person and provided their contact number. This seemed highly unprofessional and strange for a host. Ultimately, we endured an unclean apartment for 9 days, and even had to dispose of our garbage at a location far from the flat. This type of experience is what we’ve come to expect from Airbnb, not Booking.com. We were extremely disappointed with the host’s behavior and overall experience. It was very unpleasant.

Our 2nd stay at this very comfortable apartment and it won't be our last. The host is wonderful and she is genuinely committed to giving you a great holiday experience, she is often nearby and easy to contact. The apartment soon becomes a home from home and the location is one of the best around, you can watch the sunset on the horizon of the sea from the comfortable bed! but its equally good from the balcony or one of the many excellent tavernas along the front. The weather was exceptionally hot this year and the apartment is a cool haven. We slept so well with the sound of the sea as our lullaby. We love Acharavi, its relaxed, the people friendly - we are remembered and welcomed by the same people every year, there is great food for good value, the beach is super safe as its slopes very gradually and is sandy once you get over the initial pebbles, its super warm, clean and there are no nasty currents. You can use the beach sunbeds at most places if you buy your drinks and snacks or meals there during the day, they even serve you on the beach. If you want excitement, well you can go on excursions but its probably not really for you, this is the place to relax. Really, really relax.

The view was beautiful. And location was great. Tavernas either side of property,all good. You don’t have to walk far for anything.

Fantastic location. Direct onto the pebble beach. Close to restaurants. Easy walk into the village. The little extras made life easier - water in the fridge and coffee in the pot.

Beatrice the host is exceptional, she makes every effort to make your stay perfect. The apartment is a good size and is extremely well equipped. It wasn't the cheapest apartment in the area but it has the best location right on the beach with a spectacular uninterrupted view of the sea. You can sit on your balcony and enjoy the sunset or watch people passing by. 2 of the most popular local Tavernas are just a few feet away, we love Woody's for breakfast/brunch, Faros for dinner both their hospitality is legendary. Don't dismiss Fuego for food and Medusa too, Maistro is excellent too. You are spoiled for choice of excellent sea front places for good food and to watch the spectacular sunsets. This apartment is a big step up from the average Corfu ones, you get your own internet connection - fast enough to stream TV, a smart TV, your own water heater so never runs out, every kitchen appliance you can think of, the host provides some food and drink supplies and treats to get you started, it has good quality very quiet air conditioning, the bed is very comfortable and the pillows soft. Everything very clean. We have stayed in many Corfu apartments, this is superior. We will 100% visit again, we hated leaving! Thank you Bea! x
