Wonderful small aristocratic hotel, with excellent staff, wonderful facilities, wonderful pool. The patina of time, the furnishings, the comfort, the discretion and kindness give this hotel a sense of nobility. It is located in the green part of the city and you have access to very good restaurants within walking distance.

I’ve stayed at Mahogany Lodge a few times, and it is great. Good location, close to airport but also Osu, always clean and great staff.

I love to swim and was happy about the pool. The size, the cleanliness, was excellent . The staff were patient and always willing to help. Breakfast each morning was good.

Staff are very friendly, airport pick up and drop off very good. Breakfast is delicious and room is also lovely. Conversion from dollars to cedis was also correct.

Worse place ever! Only "nice" thing of this place is the swimming pool but even that be ready to be bitten by mosquitos like you're by a pond! The room was awful and extremely small. Even what was meant to be a double bed, was completely inadequate for a couple. The room was really dark and if we dared opened the curtains we will face the waste disposable of the hotel, I wish I would have taken pictures! In regards of the AC, be prepared to get back in a boiling room as they refuse to give you a second key to keep it on while you're outside to cool down the room. But if at least the staff was nice... these people are the rudest people we ever met. We spent only one night there and it was more than enough. We didn't have hot water in the morning but because we were getting ready to catch our flight we thought that we would tell them on our way to go. They didn't apologise instead they blamed us to not having telling them "straight away". But it got worse... they said that it must be our fault that we may have touch a button that has switched off the hot water. My husband and I got confused as nobody ever been given us instructions or explained anything about that. So we innocently told them that the only switch we know is for the light and they sarcastically laugh at us. Honestly even if the price was cheaper it's not a way to treat customer at all. But for the price they ask, this hotel it's an absolute joke!! So don't get deceived by the pictures like we did!

“Nice and comfy”

It is a small hotel with nice rooms, somehow with American style. Nice pool area with some tables and chairs, food was good, nothing to complain about...!

I will recommend to anyone I had a nice experience and with their drop off and pick up from the airport is a bonus.

We were delighted with the free airport shuttle which met us on time and was very helpful. The room was very comfortable with a good standard of air conditioning. The pool was a lovely feature and we used it twice. The cost was good value for money. The breakfast was good.

We made the Mahogany Lodge our base while exploring Ghana thanks to its proximity to the airport and the complimentary shuttle service. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool, the delicious food served at its restaurant and the lovely staff.

“Ok for a short stay”

The pool is one of the nicest and cleanest I had on my west Africa tour. However it was unnecessarily slow/hard to get a pool towel and we were told not to use room towels. The restaurant is good and the staff made us a packed breakfast when we were leaving very early for a day tour. I really appreciated that.
