Peacefully located on Ilha Grande Island, the rustic Pousada D´Pillel offers practical accommodations overlooking the Atlantic Rainforest. “Will definitely come back again!”
- Very complete breakfast with many food options and changing from day to day. - Super friendly and helpful staff, giving out great day-trip and overall advices that one cannot find elsewhere. - Clean rooms and responsive cleaning staff. - Mosquito net was very effective. - Comfortable bed and smart TV. We felt very welcomed and cared for during our stay.

“Beautiful Pousada on a backpacker island”
Ilha Grande is definitely a place for backpackers who want to hike, experience nature and discover private beaches. The staff were incredible and helped us with booking a taxi boat to the beaches and even suggested we hike to a beach no one else goes too - we had a private beach day, which was one of the highlights of our Brazil trip. Breakfast was great, although suggest you go down early when it's hot out. The Pousada is beautiful, especially the garden which is a lovely place to eat breakfast.

We loved our stay here! The staff were lovely, especially Michelle who was super helpful and helped us organise trips and transportation. The breakfast was great with a lot of choice, and it was nice to have coffee and cakes provided in the afternoon too. There were some lovely common areas, especially the garden where we had breakfast and the main room with a table tennis table, good for rainy days!

Was in a really good location, a really pretty view of the jungle from our balcony and all the staff were really helpful! Especially John who helped us with planning our days and pointed out the best spots to eat/ things to do on the island.

We recently stayed at this hotel and loved it. The place was really clean and comfortable, which made us feel right at home. The staff were super friendly and could all speak English. They were always there to help us with anything we needed, making our stay much easier. We really enjoyed the breakfast. It was tasty and had plenty of options to choose from. The garden was another highlight - it's well-kept and a beautiful spot to relax. In short, this hotel is great for its clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast, and lovely garden. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

“Restful and fun”

Location is perfect, 5-minutes walk to main Ilha Grande harbor, so very vlose to the center but distant enough to not get noise. Staff were extremely nice, they did their best to make our stay memorable. They also arranged for us comfortable transportation from/to Rio with a reasonable price. Great breakfast, specially home-made cakes and fresh fruits. The yard is very beautiful, and activity room was very nice.

The property and room was beautiful! Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. There was hot showers and good wifi during our stay. John was absolutely amazing and helpful for us who needed to get to the remote parts of the island without having to pay $$$ for private ferry. He was very detail oriented and really cared for us as guests. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again without a doubt!

“Fantastic Pousada”
Very friendly service (Jaoa) and advice and assistance for day trips. A good Pousada, outstanding and varied breakfast in a nice garden. Clean.
