“A special spot for a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature”

Beautiful calm surroundings, equipped kitchen, individual fridge in the room daily cleaning of rooms and change of towels give an almost hotel feel Amazing forest sounds and pure peace

“Paradise in Ilha Grande”

Idyllic is the word to use for Casa Arariba. It's set back a little further than the beach pousadas and it feels like it's right in the forest. That alone without mentioning the brazilian wildlife, super friendly cats, chickens popping in to say hi, dogs wandering past makes the place feel super close to nature. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, nice and cool, has a great shower and a super comfy bed..The owners also are really nice and you can see how much they care about their place and the nature around it.

“Relaxing place with beautiful surroundings”

The room was basic but at the same time was all we needed: clean, had AC, fridge. The house is ~10mins by walk from the center, so it's perfectly calm here and the surroundings are so beautiful! All around you there are beautiful plants, a small river you can chill out in - a perfect place to just relax your mind. You can also cook your meals if you want in a cute kitchen in the middle of the garden, we loved it. And the owner is so nice and helpful, answered all our questions, gave advises when we needed it. Be mindful that you will need to walk a bit up the hill to get to the hotel, but it's not rough - and it's worth it :)

Amazing location, out of the crowded city centre but still at pleasant walking distance. Ideal for those who want to relax or work with a river pool accessible from the garden of the Casa. More than recommended.

“Hidden gem”

Absolutely beautiful place. The rooms were nice and cool, protected by the verandah. The rooms were well equipped and the outdoor kitchen had everything we needed. Great place to enjoy home cooked meals with awesome company. The gardens are beautiful, a hidden oasis. There is a waterfall just next to the property where you can go for a dip. The owners, Barbara and Danny (English speaking) are really lovely and super accommodating. Wished we booked to stay for longer as it has by far been the best place we have stayed so far in Brazil - and very well priced!
