Overview
This guest house is in the centre of Abisko and next to Abisko National Park. Depending on the season, the midnight sun and the Northern Lights can be viewed from the property and surrounding area. Abisko Östra Train Station is within 150 metres and Kiruna is 90 km away. Abisko Guesthouse offers self-catering guest rooms and apartments. Each guest room has a wardrobe and access to a shared kitchen and communal sauna. Guests staying in the rooms have access to shared bathroom facilities. The apartments have a private full kitchen and private bathroom facilities. On site features include free WiFi and BBQ facilities. Views of the mountains and Lake Torneträsk can be enjoyed. The property can arrange an array activities, such as dog sledding, ice fishing, ice climbing and moose spotting by car. Northern Light excursions are offered in a variety of forms, such as by snowmobile, snowshoes or a visit to Aurora Sky Station. Guests can also learn how photograph the Northern Lights in a workshop arranged by the property.

Kitchen and room both were well equipped and clean, we were given common floor access before and after checkout got keycard for common area, luggage storage. Room with window in apartment which was rather pricey for the area but atleast it was much cleaner and quite than the groud floor cheaper options. Getting to lake from stay in easy in case you want to catch glimpse of northern lights at night.

“Accomodation with great staff and location”
Staff are wonderful in Abisko guesthouse. We have met Sofia, who is super helpful while we asked for directions to Abisko STF. There is also Jacob, our guide for our aurora automobile chase, who is super helpful and got us some really good aurora shots at the end of the experience. Location of the accommodation is also great.

It's near the train station, and there's a supermarket nearby. The view is great, the room is small but warm and clean.

“Nice stay in Absiko”
This stay was lovely in Absiko. Shared kitchen, bathroom and shower between 2 rooms. Very spacious common areas. The rooms are very small, sleep 2 with bunkbeds. Nice place. You need to drive to these locations so the location is as good as any other.

Excellent location, friendly staff and a very good atmosphere. It was a great experience in general. I got to see the northern lights right there from their terrace. Would definitely recommend and come back :)

“I love this place”
The location near the lake. We saw the aurora just outside of the guesthouse. Very near to grocery shop and also the train station.

Everything was clean. The kitchen was well equipped. And the rooms were very warm The location was great too. Right near the lake and the supermarket. Very close to the train station.

Very good access to kitchen and bathroom facilities. Even after we checked out they let us use the common areas which was perfect for warming up after exploring.
