The location and views were outstanding, the host was very welcoming and friendly she went above and beyond for our anniversary which was lovely, The pod was very clean comfortable and cozy to stay in would definately stay again lots to do near by

We have just returned from an amazing stay, and we will definitely be returning. Absolutely beautiful views and an immaculate pod with everything you need. The stargazing was beautiful, we've never seen a sky like it. Sam was so helpful and attentive, she recommended nice places to eat and visit during our stay.

The biggest selling point of this property is the beautiful view and peaceful surroundings. The enclosed outside space makes it perfectly dog friendly without the worry of others being around or the possibility of your dog escaping. The lodge was cosy with everything you would need during your stay. The owner Sam was brilliant and communicated with us really well, including sending lots of recommendations and making sure we were comfortable during our stay.

We loved the location! It was quiet and peaceful and had beautiful views ! The pod was super clean and had everything we needed for our short break. The location was excellent as you had access to lots of different things to do in the area. The bed was very comfortable.

“Perfect weekend”
The view from the pod and the surrounding area is super beautiful, pictures don’t do it justice. The accommodation had everything we needed and more, it was really clean and looked after. We had the Dinas view pod and it was exceptional. Absolute peaceful bliss with amazing views. Sam was a brilliant host, very warm and welcoming. It was a lovely stay. The pod was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The best night sleep we’ve had! We will definitely be going back. Would highly highly recommend.

“Reasonably priced and well worth the money!”
Sam was more than accommodating, sent us local activities to do in the area, directions were simple to follow. Even supplying fresh eggs from the farm on arrival. The pod had stunning views out over the lake, with plenty of wildlife / farm animals to watch. Everything you needed was in the pod and the bed was a 20/10 for comfort! I would recommend Forester's Retreat.

Beautifully decorated and very cosy. The view was amazing - even when it was raining! It was very quiet and private with plenty of outside space. Inside there was everything we needed. The owner was very friendly and available if there were any problems.
