We loved our 3 nights stay in the cabin. Peter and Marion have thought of everything you might need. The views across the meadow were lovely, a great place to re-charge. Thoroughly recommend.

Marion and Peter were fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble if you needed it. They have a little slice of heaven and we can't wait to return, sooner rather than later. Everything was perfect, there's too much to praise but trust me if you get the chance, go and stay, you certainly won't be disappointed 💯

We had a really lovely stay here. The scenery and surroundings are beautiful, especially the river nearby. The cabin is really lovely inside too, and we had everything we needed. The outdoor fire is really great and you can really see the stars clearly at night. The extras we were given were really a nice surprise too, the apples were delicious and we enjoyed the Prosecco too!

This was such a beautiful and tranquil little place. It exceeded our expectations and would happily go back again.

Loved absolutely everything, was an absolute gem of a find. Was exactly what I was looking for. Inside was so comfortable and cosy, and the surrounding location was beautiful, peaceful and idyllic, the only very close neighbours being chickens and sheep which I loved. The outside bath is a lovely bonus to unwind after a busy day exploring this stunning part of Wales. Our hosts were lovely, very informative and knowledgeable about the local area. We had plenty of information to help us with our stay, most importantly getting to the location. Also made us feel at home with a lovely warm welcome. Will definitely be back again as soon as we possibly can!

It’s such a cozy comfortable place to be and is so peaceful. The outside bath is nice and hot and is just very romantic with the fairy lights around it

It’s was perfect, spotlessly clean, beautiful location. The bed was super comfy, the cabin has everything you need with a special place for everything. The pictures don’t do it justice.

I fell in love with the cabin as soon as I stepped inside. Skilfully and lovingly hand crafted by Peter, with so many individual nuances in the internal structure, with truly luxurious fittings - a comfortable bed with Egyptian cotton sheets & Welsh wool blanket, a well kitted out kitchen - everything you could want of the highest quality, a good sized bathroom, with large shower, fluffy towels and a warm towel rail. Inside was exquisite, whilst outside was peaceful, well thought out: I enjoyed warming by the chiminea at night until 10pm-ish listening to the flow of the stream which runs down the middle of the sweet meadow, whilst watching the sunset change the colour of the trees. The meadow homed sheep/lambs which were very entertaining. I stayed 5 nights and managed 5 outside baths.....keeping the body submerged within warm water whilst watching the dark night sky/stars was truly food for the soul. I found a deep reservoir within me of peace whilst staying at Dôl Swynol and will, without question, return - a bit later in the year to experience it in a different season. Marion and Peter were thoughtful, helpful, attentive but not in the least bit intrusive. I read 2-3 chapters of all the books on the bookshelf which were completely in sync with the setting.
