the location is quiet and peaceful, with massive garden (sadly was raining most of our stay) and fully stocked with everything we needed, including fresh eggs from the farm! the bed is massive and super comfortable, the cottage has everything you need to wash, dry and iron clothing if needed.

Large, roomy & comfortable, the fresh eggs & flowers were a nice touch, amazing wifi, would highly recommend.

I liked how the cottage was set out, it was absolutely lovely. Also liked that it was out of the way, very quiet area which was great. The sky at night was lovely to look at since there wasn't that much sky pollution.

Great location - easy to get into Abergavenny town centre with loads of car parks to choose from as well as being in close proximity to wonderful places to walk (we did the Sugarloaf circular). The space had everything we needed for 2 nights away. We were able to cook easily with the basics already being provided for in the kitchen. The log burner made such a difference on the cold, winter evenings with the wood that was provided at the beginning of our stay lasting us the entire time we were there.

Great winter getaway. Short drive to the Black mountains and nearby town. Log fire a great addition. Facilities well stocked.

The open fire was lovely and the bed was massive.

Amazing property! Bed was super comfy. Kitchen was very well equipped. Grounds and garden were so lovely. So quiet and peaceful at night. We will definitely be back again in the future! Thanks so much for a great little stay.

The cottage was lovely -tastefully furnished with all we needed, and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and a superking which was great. But the standout for me was the large private garden with 2 hens and rabbits wandering through, and full of plants and birds. We came away feeling very relaxed and will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

The place was absolutely beautiful, did not want to leave and hoping to return again.

“Wonderful stay!”

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Billiard Cottage. The space was cosy, spacious, and spotless, perfect for a peaceful escape from the city. The garden was beautiful, offering a lovely spot to unwind, and the fresh eggs were a thoughtful touch from the host (and were very much appreciated!) One unexpected bonus was how quiet the washing machine was, I was able to do laundry and still relax without any disturbance. The Wi-Fi was also fast and reliable, which made everything even more convenient. We’ll definitely be recommending this charming getaway to our family and friends. What a delightful experience!
