I was very anxious as i had read previous reviews. However. The place has new management who are doing an amazing job. Working very hard. The caretaker Steve was absolutely amazing. Friendly helpful and gave an amazing tour. I swear this place will go from better to better now the right people are on board. If you want quirky. This is the place for you. The communal area was very comfortable too an it’s so not like a hotel. It’s a quirky experience where you leave as friends. I left vowing to return and adding three fellow guests as friends on my fb. It’s unique. Quirky. In a beautiful setting with an example lovely friendly caretaker.

Clean, and a chill place to relax and unwind and is surrounded by nature all around making the air so clean and fresh I love it.

Great value for money and a very welcoming host. I think too many people have left a review of this place in bad taste. Yes, it could do with some modernisation, but if you want a welcoming, affordable, clean room and a nice lounge area on your adventures in Wales this is the spot.👍

We stayed instead of camping because of the weather, it was perfectly fine for the price.. bed was comfy and the room was pretty clean. Was exactly what I was expecting.

Perfect location for the Welsh national show caves and the four falls walk. Good location for Breacons hiking in general. Pub and shop are close also. The accommodation was basic but clean and tidy. The outside space was nice amongst the trees and on the lawns. For one or two nights the place is fine. If you're looking for luxury then this might not be the place for you.

Location is lovely. It is a very quirky and different but has loads potential with the new owners. The staff is super friendly -the gentleman who welcomed us late at night when we arrived later than expected was so helpful and kind.

Had a lovely 1 night stay here, lovely pub 5 mins away to have dinner, was great location for the waterfalls, was met by friendly hosts, room was great, clean had what we needed. My apologies for not informing you what time we would arrive, I only just saw your message. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone

Always superb value for money. A bit basic, but if that's what you need, it's perfect. Very friendly staff, always easy parking, lovely location. Having visited a few times now, it's good to see that it's being improved, and gets better and better each time.
