Beautiful unique working windmill, which is spacious and well equipped. The beds are so comfortable. Maarten is a great host. The village of abacoude is quaint make sure you have cocktails in the garden at the abbey. Perfect stay, we ordered pizzas one night and they cook in a van next to the property

Excellent historic windmill vacation. It's a historic relic and the owner Maarten has made it as comfortable as it can be, paying much attention to small details. We've got everything we needed for the stay!

It was extraordinary! This is probably one of the best locations I have chosen on Booking in recent years. Don't worry about it being a windmill. There were 5 of us and we were very comfortably accommodated. Everything you need is here. And I have never slept so well anywhere as here) You will not feel the atmosphere like here anywhere. Amsterdam is wonderful, but when I think of my visit to Holland, the first pleasant memories that come to mind are Mondriaanmolen in Abkaude. By the way, we got to the congress center in Amsterdam faster than our colleagues who settled in Amsterdam itself. Everything was great.

The windmill offered unique accommodation in a beautiful setting. The host thoughtfully left us some drinks in the fridge and there were some basic groceries in the cupboard such as salt and spices. We could use the washing machine and the beds were super comfy. We used the bicycles and it offered convenient transport to the station. A great place to stay with kids.

This place was amazing. So old and historic yet has all needed conveniences. So much Charactor. Close bike ride to a cute town too. Very cozy feel. Loved having coffee along the canal in the mornings,but really also wanted to stay in the cozy bed.
